Deadline fast approaching to enroll for health insurance through MNsure

There are only a few days left — through Thursday (12/15) —  for Minnesotans to sign up on MNsure for health insurance coverage to begin January 1st.  C-E-O Nate Clark says an updated “shop-and-compare” tool is at mnsure.org:

“Give a few bits of information — your zip code, the number of folks in your household who need coverage, your estimated income — and with that you can get a quick estimate of benefits you might be eligible for, but you can also search and compare plans for next year.”

For those who need extra help, Clark says MNsure has a network of a couple thousand “assisters” around the state — and there’s no charge.  Go to mnsure.org for someone near you.  And MNsure’s Contact Center has extended hours Tuesday (8am-6pm), Wednesday (8am-8-pm) and Thursday (8am-10pm).
