Eagan Police Officer In Critical Condition After Crash On Interstate 35E

(Eagan, MN)  —  An Eagan police officer is in critical condition after his squad vehicle was struck Tuesday morning.  Officer Kade Eggum was on Interstate 35E with emergency lights activated when he tried to make a left turn at a median crossover.  That’s when the officer’s vehicle collided with a semi and was then hit by an SUV.  No one else was injured in the crash, which shutdown northbound lanes of the interstate for two hours.
