Fairmont Man Taken to Fairmont ER after Crash Near Rutland Township

A Fairmont man was hospitalized after a crash near Rutland Township. The incident occurred just after midnight on Sunday, January 5th. A 2014 FIAT 500L driven by Hilario Choncoa Garcia, age 23 of Fairmont, was southbound on Highway 15 when it left the roadway near 180th street in Rutland Township in Martin County. Garcia was taken to the Fairmont Emergency Room with non-life threatening injuries. Assisting at the scene were the Martin County Sheriff’s Office and Mayo Clinic Ambulance.
