(Faribault, MN)  —  The Faribault school system is weighing a state grant the district received to curb drug use among Black, indigenous, and other students of color.  Two school board members objected at the November meeting to the mission of the grant and questioned whether accepting it would discriminate against white students.  Board Chair Chad Wolff is bringing the funding up for another vote with the full board attending tomorrow.  At least five of the seven board members say they will vote in favor of the grant funding.
