Faribault Woman Dies after Hitting Tractor in Rice County

A Faribault woman died Sunday after hitting a tractor in Rice County.  The crash occurred on Sunday, December 29th at approximately 4:59 PM. According to the incident report, a 20024 John Deere Tractor, driven by Myron John Reuvers, age 64, of Faribault, was Southbound on Highway 3 at Milepost 5 near Cannon City Township. A 2015 Chevy Traverse, driven by Laura Jean Daily, age 58 of Faribault, was driving Northbound on Highway 3. The John Deere attempted to make a left turn and was struck by the Chevrolet. The Chevrolet came to final rest in East side ditch. Daily and a 30 year old passenger, Brianna Ashlynn Daily, also of Faribualt, were transported to Northfield Hospital. Laura Daily was pronounced dead at the hospital. Brianna Ashlynn Daily was treated for non-life threatening injuries. Reuvers was not injured.
