Model T Ford Club International Tour Coming to Owatonna July 21-25
The Model T Ford Club International, Inc. https://modelt.org/ is holding their 68th tour in Owatonna July 21-25 this year. It will bring over 200 Model T cars to Owatonna (so far there are 218 cars registered); and will host over 500 guests of all ages, from all over the US, and even internationally, as a part of the tour.
The tour has spurred 3 local events in the community that will be open to the public— including the fashion show at the Village of Yesteryear,( https://www.schsmn.org/village-of-yesteryear) a car show at Mineral Springs Park, and an ADDITIONAL date for Owatonna’s favorite summer event, Downtown Thursday (https://www.facebook.com/DowntownOwatonna/), which typically draws 3000-4000+ people, generally the first Thursday of the month June- September, (this one is an extra event, so not the first Thursday this time, but same format).
The Model T takes daily car tours, all leaving from Owatonna each day, and will visit Mankato, Faribault, Northfield, Mantorville, and Zumbrota, along with the communities they drive through along the way. The group will be hosted at the DoubleTree Hotel (which just opened in Owatonna June 19!), and additional Owatonna hotels as a part of the event.
