Federal Judge Orders Release Of Mankato Student Arrested By ICE

A federal judge is ordering the release of an international Minnesota State University student, who was arrested last month by ICE. Mohammed Hoque from Bangladesh has been jailed since March 28th.

U.S. District Judge Jerry Blackwell says the man should be released because he was targeted for his social media posts. Hoque has filed a lawsuit claiming he was being detained unlawfully and believes he was arrested because of his support of Palestinians in the war against Israel and Hamas.
