Health insurance sign-ups through MNsure second-highest in recent history
MNsure officials say sign-ups for 2023 health insurance during the open enrollment period just-ended…
“We’re actually at our second-highest December 15th enrollment numbers in recent history, last year being the exception: We had a little bit higher last year.”
MNsure’s Libby Caulum says over 119-thousand-500 Minnesotans signed up for their 2023 health insurance through the state-run exchange. It’s the only place where people can get up-front tax credits, and Caulum says those families will save on average 560 dollars per month on their health insurance premiums. If you missed the December deadline, you can still sign up for health insurance coverage to start February 1st, but you must act by January 15th.
