Holiday Sharing Tree Kicks Off

The Holiday Sharing Tree began in 1985 filling the needs of 185 families. Last  season the Holiday Sharing Tree helped over 900 families. Since 1985 over  72,000 gifts have been distributed to those in need in Blue Earth and Nicollet  counties.

The Holiday Sharing Tree will kick off Wednesday, November  16th at 10am at Hy-Vee, Riverfront Drive 

This is how it works…Giving Cards will be available for pick up starting Nov 16th.  Donors fill the need with a suggested gift card along with an option to include a personal message on an inserted gift tag, place it in the envelope and deposit in boxes attached to Holiday Sharing Tree signs at the following locations: 

River Hills Mall, Fleet Farm-Mankato, North Mankato Taylor Library,  both Hy-Vee locations in Mankato, and in St. Peter: First National Bank  Minnesota, Nutter Clothing and Hy-Vee.
