Home sales leveling off

Home sales are cooling across the state. Chris Galler, CEO of Minnesota Realtors:

“We’ve been seeing a slowdown in closed home sales now for since the beginning of the year. It slowly increased as interest rates have gone up making it much harder for buyers to purchase homes.”

Galler says the frantic pace of buying has slowed due to an increase in property supply, rising interest rates, and inflation.
