HomeHelpMN deadline extended beyond today (WED)
Today’s deadline for applying for the HomeHelpMN program has been extended. HomeHelpMN is a federal stimulus program that allows the state Housing Department to assist homeowners with up to $50,000 to pay eligible past due housing expenses. Housing Commissioner Jennifer Ho says so far, about 5,000 applications have been received…
“But we know that there are more homeowners who are behind then have applied for the program we think there’s potentially as many as as 25,000 income-eligible homeowners who are behind on their mortgage payments.”
Around $109 million is available to Minnesotans through the federal American Rescue Plan. For more information or to apply, you can visit homehelpmn.org
