Juvenile Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle Wednesday in Courtland
On 9/17/2025 at approximately 2025 hours, Nicollet County Dispatch received a report of a pedestrian on an electric scooter being struck by a vehicle. The crash occurred on Nicollet County Rd 24, near Collin Dr in the City Limits of Courtland.
A 16 year old driving an electric scooter was struck by a vehicle and transported by Allina Ambulance Service to MCHS Mankato for serious injuries. The driver of the vehicle did not sustain any injuries.
Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Minnesota State Patrol, Allina Ambulance Service, and the Courtland Fire Department
The investigation is ongoing as to what happened. Alcohol and Drugs are not suspected to be a factor in the crash.
