Mankato Man Charged with Violation of No Contact Order
A Mankato man was charged with 4 counts including violation of a no contact order. Bryon Allen Hansen of Mankato was charged in Blue Earth County District Court on Thursday with 4 counts including:
1st Degree Aggravated Robbery, a Felony with a maximum sentence of 20 years or a $35,000 fine, or both
Threats of Violence-Reckless Disregard Risk, a Felony with a maximum sentence of 5 years or a $10,000 fine, or both
Domestic Abuse No Contact Order – Violating a No Contact Order, a Misdemeanor with a maximum sentence of 90 days or a $1,000 fine, or both
5th Degree Assault-Inflict or Attempt Bodily Harm, a Misdemeanor with a maximum sentence of 90 days or a $1,000 fine, or both.
According to the criminal complaint on December 27, 2024, the Victim stated that there was an act of domestic abuse no contact order that prohibited Bryon Allen Hansen from having contact with her. The victim stated they were in a previous relationship for about two or three years that ended in October 2024.
Officers observed visible injuries on the Victim that were consistent with what she had reported from the incident.
On December 29, 2024, officers made contact with Hansen and arrested him. On his person, officers found the victim’s cell phone.
