Mankato Man Dies in Motorcycle Accident Thursday near Minnemishinona Falls Park

On Thursday, August 14, 2025 at around 11:30 p.m. the Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a motorcycle accident on the Judson Bottom Road near the Minnemishinona Falls Park. Several agencies responded to assist with this accident.

This was a single vehicle accident. The driver of the motorcycle, Michael Mcmahon (age 44) of Mankato was found to be deceased at the scene.

The cause of this accident is unknown and the accident is still under investigation.
