Mankato Transit Offering Free Service to RibFest July 31 – August 3
The Mankato Transit System will offer fare-free transportation to RibFest 2025 to make it easier and more accessible for community members to enjoy the event. Service will run from Thursday, July 31 through Sunday, August 3, with convenient bus routes and shuttle service provided during peak festival hours.
Free Transit Details:
- Thursday, July 31 and Friday, August 1
- Route 7 will operate fare-free until 8:30 p.m.
- Free shuttle service route from 5 p.m. – midnight
- Saturday, August 2
- Free shuttle service route from 3 p.m. to midnight
- Sunday, August 3
- Free shuttle service route from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Pickup/Drop-off Locations (Shuttle):
- Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center
- Riverfront Drive & East Spring Street
- South 2nd Street & East Hickory Street
- Cherry Street & Front Street
Shuttles will run approximately every 15 minutes, though delays may occur due to traffic. The shuttle will follow the route map and stop only at designated locations. To track the shuttle in real time download the app Bus Mankato available in Apple Store and GooglePlay.
Parking Information
Free street and ramp parking will be available downtown for event attendees.

- Cherry Street Ramp (corner of South Front St. and E. Cherry St.)
