LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Minnesota State volleyball team climbed to No. 23 in the latest AVCA Top 25 Poll, moving up two spots from last week’s No. 25 ranking.

The Mavericks’ rise comes following a dominant sweep over Winona State and a tightly contested matchup against then-No. 10 Concordia-St. Paul.

Minnesota State is one of six NSIC programs featured in the national rankings. Wayne State leads the conference at No. 6, followed by Concordia-St. Paul at No. 10 and St. Cloud State at No. 11. Minnesota Duluth checks in at No. 18, Northern State sits at No. 22, and the Mavericks round out the group at No. 23.

MSU returns to action on Tuesday, Oct. 21, traveling to St. Cloud, Minn. to face the No. 11-ranked Huskies. First serve is set for 6 p.m. at Halenbeck Arena, with live coverage available on the NSIC Network.
