Minnesota River Valley Drug Task Force Provides Update on Resolution of Recent Cases

The Minnesota River Valley Drug Task Force provided an update on the resolution of numerous cases between 2022 and 2024.

The cases listed below, investigated between 2022 and 2024, are among many the task force has worked on and this update serves as a continuation of our commitment to keeping the public informed. Sentenced Individuals:

Haley Marie Ross – 86 month stayed prison sentence with 7 years of probation and 300 days in jail for 3rd Degree Murder in connection with the overdose death of a young female on December 1, 2022.

Kane Alan Vanraalte – 98 months in state prison. He was the first individual sentenced following the April 20, 2024, raid, where agents seized nearly 6,000 M30 fentanyl pills.

Nyapuot Dech Kuek – 75 months in state prison. She was the second individual sentenced in connection to the April 20, 2024, raid.

Saul Rodriguez – 160 months in federal prison for his role in methamphetamine distribution. Agents seized 31.5 pounds of methamphetamine during an investigation on October 12, 2022.

Keontae Quentrell Jones – 66 months in federal prison for possession of 1,647 M30 fentanyl pills and a handgun.

Giorgio Jovan D’Larente Baymon – 158 months in federal prison as a source of supply for M30 fentanyl pills, cocaine, and other narcotics in the region.

Dominique Lamar Breham – 92 months in federal prison as a source of supply for M30 fentanyl pills, cocaine, and other narcotics in the region.

These sentences mark the conclusion of extensive investigations and prosecutions, reinforcing our commitment to disrupting drug networks and ensuring justice. This update is not intended to highlight any particular case over others but rather to provide closure on cases previously shared with the public. The DTF appreciates the collaborative efforts of our local, state, and federal partners in bringing these cases to resolution.
