Minnesotans shot down the object over Lake Huron this weekend

(St. Paul, MN)  —  It was Minnesota airmen who shot down the flying object over Lake Huron this weekend.  Governor Tim Walz says the one-hundred-48th Fighter Wing based out of Duluth was part of the federal mission Sunday.  It was the fourth object shot down in U.S. airspace over the past several days.
