Minnesota’s primary election is tomorrow (TUE).
“Primary is basically the winnowing process. You start out with a bunch of candidates who filed for office, but only a subset of them make it to the general election. If they’re running for a partisan office, if there are multiple Democrats or multiple Republicans running for an office. This is the contest that selects which one of them one per political party may see it to the final ballot in November.”
Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon says if you have any questions about the process, or who is on the ballot, visit mnvotes.gov.
