MN GOP leaders not interested in Trump visit before the election
Top Republican leaders in Minnesota aren’t hiding that they are not interested in former President Donald Trump coming to Minnesota before the election. The Scott Jensen for governor campaign earlier this week gave what could be called a lukewarm reception to Trump’s endorsement, and Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman David Hann says:
“The Jensen campaign has not sought after, or encouraged, or asked for an endorsement or any assistance from Donald Trump.”
Hann says the Jensen campaign is focused on the skyrocketing crime rate, horrible economy and high heating costs and “whatever Donald Trump may or may not say, that’s kind of irrelevant to that effort.”
