MN Senate Hears Testimony On Marijuana Legalization
(St. Paul, MN) — A bill that would legalize recreational marijuana in Minnesota is finally getting a hearing in the Senate. Today marked the first time State Senators have heard testimony on the matter. Lindsey Port introduced the bill, which focuses on creating a regulated cannabis marketplace and expunging charges for people convicted of low-level marijuana offenses in the state. Meanwhile, a companion version is making its way through the House.
