Moondogs and Habeneros both pick up wins Monday

The Mankato Moondogs were up 13-0 after 5 innings, on their way to a 16-9 win over the Badland Big Sticks last night. Evan Saunders from St Michael MN, led the offense going 2 for 3, with an home run and 5 RBI’s. Caleb Koskie from Minnetonka, MN and Indiana University picked up the win on the mound pitching 5 innings allowing 0 runs off of 3 hits. Koskie is now 2-0 on the season, Moondogs are now 9-10 on the season. Same two teams will play a double header in Dickinson, ND with game one starting at 12:05

Mankato Habeneros have won 3 in a row after routing Wausau 18-3 in 5 innings last night. Catcher Skylinn Pogue from Eureka Missouri and the University of Iowa led the offense going 3 for 3, a grand slam and 6 RBI’S Mankato is now 3-2 and will face Wausau again tonight at ISG Field starting at 6:35
