MSU to Provide Free Dental, Health Services to Active, Reserve, Retired Military on Nov. 10

 Minnesota State University, Mankato’s College of Allied Health and Nursing is honoring active, reserve and retired military members by offering a variety of dental, hearing and health services for free on Thursday, Nov. 10 in the University’s Clinical Sciences Building (150 South Road; building is located north of the Taylor Center and east of Ford Hall).

During the “Health for Heroes” event, the public dental clinic (Clinical Sciences Building, Room 128) is offering free dental cleanings, exams, x-rays and fluoride treatments. Cleanings will be at 9 a.m. or 1 p.m. – appointments are required by calling 507-389-2147.

The Center for Communication Sciences and Disorders (Clinical Sciences Building, Room 115) will be offering free hearing screenings from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and from 3:30-5 p.m. on Thursday. No appointments are necessary for hearing screenings.

Additional health and wellness resources, including nutrition information from the dietetics program, will also be available on a drop-in basis.
