No Injuries in Lafayette Township House Fire

On Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 11:05 a.m., the New Ulm Fire Department was dispatched to 58608 County Road 21 in Lafayette Township for a house fire. Upon arrival, the north side of the house was fully involved, extending to the interior of the house.

There was a single occupant who had exited the house before crews arrived. The fire originated outside with the cause still under investigation.

There was heavy damage to the house. Crews had the fire under control in approximately 45 minutes and remained on scene for approximately 3 hours. No injuries were reported.

The New Ulm Fire Department was assisted by the Lafayette Fire Department and Nicollet County Sheriff’s Department.
