No Injuries Reported in Two Vehicle Crash Near Belle Plaine Sunday

On Sunday March 23rd, 2025 at approximately 7:5 pm, the Sibley County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle accident on Scenic Byway Road near 281st Avenue, rural Faxon Township, approximately four miles southwest from the city of Belle Plaine, MN. A vehicle driven by a 16 year old male from Belle Plaine was attempting to make a turn when it was struck (rear ended) by a vehicle driven by another 16 year old male from Belle Plaine. Two passengers were in the vehicle that was rear-ended. No major injuries were sustained or reported, and all occupants were wearing their seatbelts. Both vehicles were towed due to damage sustained. Two of the individuals involved were transported by ambulance to be further evaluated as a precautionary measure.
