No Prison For Minneapolis Woman Who Fell On Baby Who Later Died
(Minneapolis, MN) — A Minneapolis woman is avoiding prison time after she fell on a baby and was convicted of manslaughter. Stephanie Walker was sentenced yesterday during a bench trial to one year in a workhouse and she was also ordered on probation for three years. Prosecutors say Walker fell on 13-week-old D’Juan Anderson Junior while going down a flight of stairs in 2020 in a Brooklyn Center home. The child died from skull fractures and severe brain swelling.
