North Mankato Firefighters Relief Association Receives $10,000 Grant from Proper No. Twelve

The North Mankato Firefighters Relief Association is excited to announce the department has been awarded a $10,000 One For All grant from Proper No. Twelve.

The funding will be used to purchase high pressure extrication air lift bags used by firefighters during rescue operations. The equipment helps crews lift heavy objects during emergency response situations, including vehicle extrications and other rescue incidents.

A check presentation will take place today, May 7th at 3:30 p.m. at Fire Station #2 at 1825 Howard Drive.
