North Mankato Taylor Library Welcoming Local Author Courtney Hanson on Thursday

The North Mankato Taylor library is happy to welcome local author, Courtney Hanson, on Thursday, February 27th at 4:30pm in the library. Her book “My Dad Hung the Moon” is about the author’s admiration and love for her father, Robert David Clark – a Vietnam War veteran, writer, and author. This book is a tribute to him, especially as he bravely battles two stage four cancers. It’s dedicated to him, as a symbol of the bond they share and the lessons Robert taught his daughter over the years. Courtney Hanson was born and raised in Mankato and currently lives in Hanska. Her daughter, Piper, drew the beautiful moon rising over her grandpa’s lilac hedge on the back cover. The author has an Etsy store and she signs each copy of the book.
