Owatonna Man Hospitalized Following Collision with Dump Truck
An Owatonna man was hospitalized after colliding with a dump truck. The crash occurred in the eastbound lane of Highway 14 at the intersection of Highway 14 and 50th Street in Alton Township.
A 2004 Sterling dump truck driven by Zack Walter Miller, age 26 of Madison Lake, was traveling southbound on 50th Street. A 2024 Kia Sportage driven by Bryan David Schirmacher, age 60 of Owotanna, was traveling eastbound on Highway 14. The two vehicles collided. Schirmacher was taken to Owatonna Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Assisting at the scene were the Waseca County Sheriff’s Office, Janesville Fire and North Ambulance.
