MANKATO, Minn. — Minnesota State seniors
TreShawn Watson and
Marcus Hansen have been named to the D2Football.com Watch List for the upcoming 2025 season.
Hansen was named to the Second Team Defense Team, while Watson was named to the Squad Offense Team.
A defensive lineman from Waseca, Minn., Marcus Hansen started in all 14 games for Bemidji State last season and was named the NSIC Defensive Player of the Year. He notched 61 tackles, including 14.5 for a loss and 7.5 sacks. He was later earned AP All-American Second Team Defense honors.
A wide receiver from Antioch, Ill., TreShawn Watson was named to the All-NSIC First Team last season as he led the Maverick receiving corps with 53 catches for 808 yards and nine touchdowns. He recorded more than 100 receiving yards in three games last season, including a season-best 144 yards against Minot State.
Minnesota State opens its 2025 season on Thursday, Aug. 28, as it hosts the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at Blakeslee Stadium.
