Polaris Issues Warning For 250K Snowmobiles

(Medina, MN)  —  A Minnesota-based company is working with federal officials on a probable recall of several of its snowmobiles.  Polaris says old, degraded fuel in gas tanks, especially those stored for an extended period of time, has caused 30 gas tank ruptures and 16 fires.  One person has been injured.  Polaris issued a STOP riding and selling order this week.  Some Matryx, Select Trail Performance, and Axys models are affected.
