Police investigating smash and grab at Casey’s convenience store
On November 27th, 2022, at 2:16 a.m., officers from the North Mankato Police Department were dispatched to a burglary alarm at the Casey’s
convenience store on Lookout Dr. Officers arrived to find that the glass front door had been broken out.
Officers secured the scene and searched the building, which was found to be unoccupied. It was learned that several cartons of cigarettes were taken.
Investigators are reviewing surveillance footage and items of evidence left at the scene.
The suspect is described as wearing dark clothing and ski mask and used a hammer to break out the glass of the front door.
