Red Kettle Donations Down Across Minnesota
Salvation Army Red Kettle donations are down across the state. Spokesman Dan Furry:
“There are fewer volunteers this year than we’ve had in past years. So that kind of correlates to fewer bell ringers and fewer donations at the Red Kettles.”
In Greater Minnesota and North Dakota donations are running about 450 thousand dollars behind the goal. In the Twin Cities donations are down by around a quarter million dollars. The Red Kettle Campaign runs through Christmas Eve.
