Salvation Army to Host Back to School Community Fair

MANKATO, Minn. – The Salvation Army is hosting its second annual Back to School

Community Fair, partnering with some amazing groups to make a difference in the lives of

young families in Blue Earth County and North Mankato. This event will include The Pelican

Food Truck, NAACP & True Essentials Co, BEC Library, Northside Hair Co., MVAC, SMRLS,

Habitat for Humanity and Crisis Nursery just to name a few. The Salvation Army will provide

clothing vouchers, backpacks, and shoes (“Good in the Hood – Shoe Truck”). The Salvation

Army Church will be on hand for spiritual care as well. It is a one day, in-person, event – August 11, from 11AM to 3PM
