SCC Hosting College Exploration Events in October as part of Minnesota State Month
South Central College (SCC) is one of 26 colleges in the Minnesota State system, which also includes seven state universities. As part of Minnesota State Month, all of these institutions are waiving their application fee for the entire month of October, an easy move for select colleges like SCC where applying is always free.
As part of Minnesota State Month, many institutions also host college exploration events in October. SCC is hosting 11 days of events throughout the month at the college’s Faribault campus located at 1225 Third Street SW and North Mankato campus located at 1920 Lee Boulevard.
These exploration events include two “Explore SCC” Sessions on the Faribault Campus on October 18 and two on the North Mankato Campus on October 20. Sign-up is requested for these sessions at www.southcentral.edu/visit.
The college is also hosting MEA Campus Visit Days at both campuses on October 20 and 21 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Sign-up is not required to attend these drop-in events.
