Senator Klobuchar Meets With Ukraine President Zelenskyy

(Washington, DC)  —  Senator Amy Klobuchar is meeting with Ukrainian leaders, including President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.  The Minnesota Democrat visited the country yesterday with Ohio Republican Senator Rob Portman.  The two were presented with the Order of Merit, First Class, which is presented to “individuals for personal achievement for building a sovereign state, active peacekeeping and charitable activity or achievements in economics, science, culture, military, or politics.”  Klobuchar posted pictures of the meeting, saying the Ukrainian resistance has “inspired the world.”
