Suspect Arrested for Stealing Mankato West Hockey Sticks

The Duluth Police Department has made an arrest in connection with the theft of Mankato West Boys Hockey sticks last weekend. On Monday, December 30, Duluth Police arrested 23-year-old Cole Saice for pending charges of Felony Theft. Duluth police were able to return over thirty hockey sticks to the Mankato West Hockey Team. The arrest comes after officers located a male walking in the 100 block of E 3rd St with a few of the sticks on Saturday night. The male stated he located the sticks behind the Duluth CHUM Center. That male didn’t match the description of the suspected individual and was lodged at the county jail for an unrelated warrant. Mankato West is hoping to reschedule their game against Anoka that was supposed to be played the morning the sticks were discovered to be missing.
