Trask Earns NSIC Player of the Week Honors
MANKATO, Minn. – Minnesota State sophomore infielder CJ Trask has been named Player of the Week after a standout performance at the plate against Winona State and Northern State.
Trask hit .526 (10-for-19) over five games, recording eight RBI and nine runs scored while hitting safely in every contest. He posted a .625 on-base percentage with five walks and added a home run and two doubles for a .789 slugging percentage.
His week was highlighted by a five-RBI performance in an 11-8 win over Winona State.
The Mavericks will face St. Cloud State on Tuesday for a midweek series with the first pitch being at 1:30 pm.
