(Washington, DC)  —  The U.S. Supreme Court is set to weigh a Hennepin County case involving the sale of a condo seized for back taxes.  The dispute centers around whether the county had the right to keep the profit made on the sale of the condo that exceeded the amount owed to them.  Minneapolis resident Geraldine Tyler says the county sold her condo for 25-thousand dollars over what she owed the county and that the extra money should belong to her.  The case could affect how Minnesota and other states handle property tax seizures.
