(Minneapolis, MN) — Minnesota is set to host a World Cup cross country ski event next year. This marks the first World Cup event the U.S. will host in over two decades. Three-time Olympic medalist Jessie Diggins told KARE 11 this is America’s chance to show off its passion for cross-country skiing. The Minnesota-native added she’s always dreamed about the race being held in her own country. It’ll take place at Wirth Park in Minneapolis.
