View Fourth of July Fireworks from Minnesota State University’s Athletic Fields

On Friday, July 4, community members are invited to view the City of Mankato’s annual fireworks display.

Due to construction work being done near Riverfront Park, the location of the City of Mankato’s annual fireworks display will be held at the Minnesota State University, Mankato athletic fields, 191 Stadium Road, for the second year in a row.

Parking will be available to residents in University parking lots 20–23. View the fireworks display exit route map. Fireworks will begin around 10 p.m.

Choreographed music can be heard on FM stations 93.1 (KATO), 94.1 (KXLP) and 96.7 (KDOG).

Items prohibited on athletic fields include: grills, personal fireworks, pets, glass containers and coolers. Personal chairs and blankets are allowed.
