Waterville Man Dies in Motorcycle Accident Near Danville Township
On Saturday afternoon deputies responded to a motorcycle crash with injuries on County Road 161 just south of County Road 159 in Danville Township. Deputies identified the rider as 54-year-old Ronald Berger Remme of Waterville, MN.
Ronald was not wearing a helmet and sustained serious injuries during the crash. Deputies and first responders from MN Lake Fire and Ambulance attempted life-saving measures at the scene but were unsuccessful.
Preliminary investigation suggests Ronald was riding his 2006 Harley Davidson south on County Road 161, lost control, and was thrown off the motorcycle. Ronald was alone and there were no witnesses.
The crash remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office with assistance from the MN State patrol and Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office.
