Winthrop Juvenile Uninjured in Vehicle Rollover Accident Tuesday
On September 22nd, 2026, around 10:57 p.m. the Sibley County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one vehicle accident near the intersection of State Highway 19 and 595th Avenue. A 2017 Chevrolet Impala was operated by a juvenile (14) from rural Winthrop, when it entered the northbound ditch causing it to roll over. The juvenile did not sustain any injuries, while the vehicle sustained severe disabling damage and was towed from the scene. The juvenile was evaluated at the scene by medical personnel, but was not transported for further medical care.
