UPDATED: Xcel Energy Power Outage Impacting Over 8,600 Mankato/North Mankato Residents

Over 8,600 Mankato/North Mankato residents find themselves without power Friday morning. The outages began around 9:30 am.

According to findenergy.com:

There were roughly 6,898 homes and businesses without power in Blue Earth County, Minnesota as of 10am. This represents 18.5% of the 37,288 customers tracked in Blue Earth County.

According to the Xcel Energy Outage Map, the outages have been reported and the estimated time for repair is 10:45 am
