Today on Talk of The Town both Maureen Gustafson and Tyler Vaughan, join Lisa to discus the non-profit creative studio in town, Mankato Makerspace. This is an art studio with multiple mediums such as wood working, ceramics, painting, and even guitar making! Mankato Makerspace allows community members to pursue their creative endeavors, take classes, and learn new skills. This non-profit still has goals of expanding. They are hoping to fundraise even more to make these dreams come true! On Feb 22, 2025, they are hosting an event celebrating 8 years of Makerspace! Listen in to find out all about it!
