Mankato Police Explorers to Host Pasta Feed Fundraiser

The Mankato Police Explorers Post #243 will host a Pasta Feed Fundraiser on Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Loose Moose, 119 S. Front St.

The fundraiser aims to raise money for the Mankato Police Explorers’ trip to Rochester, Minnesota, where the group will compete in the Minnesota Law Enforcement Explorer Association State Conference from April 24-27. All 14 members of the local Police Explorer post will attend the competition, showcasing their skills in various law enforcement activities.

Tickets for the pasta feed are $10.00 per person, including both adults and children. The meal includes pasta, red sauce, meatballs, breadsticks, and a cookie. A to-go option will be available for those who prefer take-out.

Police Explorers is a mentoring program for individuals in ninth grade through 20 years old that develops knowledge and skills in law enforcement through hands-on learning. Police Explorers also compete in state and national competitions, gaining insight into the duties of peace officers while developing leadership skills.
