Gaylord Man Sustains Minor Injuries in Rollover Accident Saturday

On Saturday July 12, 2025, at approximately 10:18 pm, the Sibley County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one-vehicle rollover on 441st Avenue near 280th Street, rural Dryden Township, approximately 3 miles Southeast from the City of Gaylord, MN.

It was learned Travis Hildebrandt, age 52 of Gaylord Minnesota, was traveling South on 441st Avenue when he lost control at a curve and entered the ditch overturning his vehicle, causing it to roll and rest on its roof. Travis was driving a 2007 Toyota Rav 4 SUV and was wearing his seatbelt. Travis sustained minor injuries and was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital. The vehicle sustained heavy disabling damage causing it to be towed from the scene.

The Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating the cause of the accident.

Assisting agencies include the Gaylord Ambulance and Gaylord Fire Department.
