Sealcoating scheduled to begin in Mankato on Monday, August 11

Some Mankato streets are scheduled for sealcoating beginning Monday, August 11. View map of streets scheduled for sealcoating. Sealcoating pavement helps extend street life by protecting streets from environmental effects of water and sun. A street sweeper will come through within a week after sealcoating. Avoid having vehicles towed by not parking on sealcoated streets until the “No Parking” signs have been removed. Sealcoating will take place over a week, depending on weather conditions. “No Parking” signs will be placed the day prior to when a street is scheduled to be sealcoated.
