Mankato Public Safety Investigating Deceased Person found near South Second Street

Mankato Public Safety is investigating the death of a man who was found unresponsive in an alleyway south of 418 South Second Street this morning.

Public Safety responded to the area around 9:45 a.m. after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male who was pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time there are no suspicions circumstances surrounding the death and there is no known danger to the public.

The investigation remains ongoing. Additional information will be released as appropriate.
