BENCHS First Bake Sale of 2025 Raises over $1000
BENCHS held their first bake sale of 2025 on Sunday, with a goal of $500.
In a post on their Facebook page, BENCHS announced they have received over $1000 so far:
“Hearts Full, Paws Grateful – Thank You!
There are moments when words feel too small to hold the depth of gratitude we feel—this is one of them. Because of you, our community of kind hearts and generous souls, the BENCHS Bake Sale raised an incredible $1,023.83—our highest total ever! (And with Venmo donations still to be counted, the final number will be even more amazing!)
But beyond the dollars, what truly moves us is the love behind every donation, every baked good, and every person who stopped by to support. You didn’t just buy a sweet treat—you gave hope. You didn’t just donate—you helped literally change lives. Each dollar raised is a step toward warmth, care, and second chances for the homeless cats and dogs who rely on us.
With your unwavering support, our shelter is beginning to stand tall again. The road has not been easy, but your kindness, generosity, and belief in our mission are rebuilding the foundation stronger than ever. Because of you, BENCHS is not just surviving—we are moving forward with hope.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for showing up, for believing in this mission, and for reminding us of the power of community. We are deeply, profoundly grateful for each and every one of you.

“BENCHS has another event set for tomorrow. The Painting for Paws event still has spots available for Tuesday, March 18th at Jake’s Stadium Pizza starting at 6pm. Cost is $45 and you will receive an 11 by 14 canvas board that is pre-stenciled, as well as cookies and soda. Sign up closes today (March 17th), call or text Marcy at 507-380-3266 to reserve your spot. Every spot filled goes toward veterinary bills for animals at the shelter.
